Monzo Business account: plans, fees and catches

Important: This guide provides general information, not personalised financial advice. Financial products, rates and eligibility rules can change, so check the provider’s current terms before applying. You can check a firm’s details on the FCA Register.

Quick answer

Monzo Business had three plans as of 3 October 2026: Lite (free), Pro (£9 a month, first month free) and Team (from £25 a month). Accounting integrations with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage come with Pro and Team.

It’s for sole traders and limited company directors in the UK.

Who it’s for

  • Sole traders and directors who want a free app-based business account
  • Businesses that want accounting integrations for £9 a month

Who should skip it

These are general points to weigh up, not advice. You may want to look elsewhere if:

  • You need accounting software feeds but don’t want a paid plan — they aren’t on Lite
  • You need branch services

The catch

The free plan is basic. If you’ll need integrations, budget for Pro from the start.
