Quick answer

As of 3 October 2026, the Chase Saver paid 2.25% AER (2.23% gross) variable, tracking 1.50% below base rate. New customers opening a boosted saver in their first 31 days got 4.50% AER, including a 2.25% AER fixed boost for 12 months.

The Regular Saver paid 6.50% AER fixed for 12 months on up to £300 a month.

Who it’s for

  • New Chase customers who can open the boosted saver within 31 days
  • People who can save a regular amount each month, up to £300
  • Anyone wanting to keep £1,000 in savers for Chase cashback

Who should skip it

These are general points to weigh up, not advice. You may want to look elsewhere if:

  • You don’t want a Chase current account — it’s required
  • You want to save more than £300 a month at the Regular Saver rate

The catch

The Regular Saver’s 6.50% applies to what you pay in month by month, so the interest you actually earn over the year is much less than 6.50% of your final balance. Try the numbers in our savings growth calculator.
